Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SocialChecker, also referred to as Social Media Command Center (“the Service”), is an admin dashboard for managing social media content workflows and viewing analytics for accounts connected by the account owner or authorized operator. The Service is operated by the SocialChecker app owner listed in the TikTok Developer Portal. Questions about this policy can be sent to alexraixon@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account connection data. When you connect a TikTok account, the Service stores the TikTok open_id, an access token, token status, connection label, and related technical metadata needed to verify and refresh the connection. For Instagram and other supported platforms, the Service stores the equivalent account identifier and connection data required for that platform.
• TikTok account and video data. With your authorization, the Service may request TikTok Login Kit / Display API scopes such as user.info.basic, user.info.stats, and video.list to verify the connected account, show account-level analytics, and list recent video performance for your own TikTok account.
• Analytics data. The Service stores metrics returned by connected platform APIs, such as follower counts, video/post views, likes, comments, and refresh timestamps.
• Public competitor content. If you add competitor accounts, the Service may collect publicly available profile, caption, post, thumbnail, transcript, and engagement information from those public accounts through scraping or data providers.
• Generated and uploaded content. The Service stores briefs, prompts, AI-generated scripts, captions, tags, cover images, uploaded files, and export bundles created at your request.
• Admin session data. The Service uses an admin session cookie to keep authorized users signed in. The Service does not use third-party advertising cookies.

3. How we use data

We use collected data only to operate the Service: connect and verify accounts, display analytics, refresh your own TikTok and Instagram performance data, organize competitor research, generate requested marketing assets, maintain security, troubleshoot errors, and comply with applicable platform rules and law. We do not sell personal data and we do not use connected TikTok account data for advertising.

4. TikTok data and tokens

TikTok access tokens are used only to make authorized TikTok API calls for the connected account. The Service does not use TikTok tokens to post content automatically, send messages, follow accounts, like content, or take any other action on TikTok unless that functionality is clearly added and authorized in a future version. In the current version, generated content is exported for manual review and posting.

Stored access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect a TikTok account from the dashboard, which disables the connection and prevents further use of the stored token by the Service. You may also revoke the app directly from your TikTok account settings where TikTok makes that control available.

5. Service providers

We share data only with providers needed to run the Service. These may include TikTok and other platform APIs for authorized account data, hosting and database providers, object storage providers, AI model providers for requested content generation, and scraping/data providers such as Apify for public competitor research. Providers are used only for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain account connection data, analytics, generated assets, and related records for as long as needed to provide the Service or until you delete or request deletion of the data. To request deletion of data associated with your use of the Service, contact alexraixon@gmail.com. We may retain limited records where required for security, legal compliance, backups, or dispute resolution.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect account tokens and Service data, including encrypted token storage and authenticated dashboard access. No internet service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Children

The Service is intended for business and creator administration use. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
